But my first game of the 2010-11 campaign will be today in Connecticut. Action has been very slow here on the blog because I’ve been pretty busy elsewhere, covering several fall sports. Which has been a lot of fun, too.
I’ll try to remedy the blog deficit a bit as the basketball season begins.
My wife will be at today’s U Conn womens game vs Holy Cross, I will not be there. Yesterday I saw a mens basketball triple-header at Mo Sun. Fairfield – Sacred Heart, Central CT – Hartford, Yale – Quinnipiac. It was odd being in the Arena for a non-WNBA game. There were some people at each game, but few stayed for all three. And when the night was over, it was a few people left, probably less than 300. Compared to the 7000 that usually attend every Sun game, it seemed empty. You just walked out. There was more of a crowd trying to get into the restaurants.
I love WNBA season, but NCAA womens basketball season is my favorite. I am looking forward to 2010-11.
